Acer Aspire 1820PT To Hit US Market

Here is another news on Acer Aspire Laptop for today. According to iTechNews, Acer is going to hit the US market with Aspire 1820PT laptop. This laptop, if you haven’t known what it is yet, is a convertible tablet PC. Powered by Intel Core 2 Duo CULV processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics 320GB HDD and built-in 5-in-1 card reader.

It has a similar specs as Acer Aspire Timeline 3810TG (especially the CULV Processor) but it has only 8-hours of battery life. 1820PT also has a smaller LCD display at 11.6-inch but it’s been a multitouch LCD Dispaly with 1024×600 or 1366×768 pixels resolution.

Other features that you can found on this Acer Aspire 1820PT convertible tablet PC is the usual Acer CrystalEye Webcam, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFI 802.11b/g/n, Dolby Sound Room 4 audio enhancement and optional UMTS/HSPA 3G/3.5G module.

No idea what’s the pricing for this Acer Aspire 1820PT Convertible Tablet PC.

Fujitsu LifeBook UH900 Multitouch MID UMPC

Fujitsu has updated their UMPC line with new UH900 Multitouch MID. This MID comes with 5.6-inch WXGA display, powered by Intel Atom Z530 processor, 64GB SSD, and it also equipped with Bluetooth and WiFi connection.

One more wireless connection that you can enjoy is the built-in 3.5G WWAN that allow you to use your local SIM card to go online, and you can enjoy video chatting with its web cam and stereo microphone. Fujitsu Lifebook UH900 UMPC will come with Windows 7 pre-installed, and the battery will be able to hold up to 3 hours using the optimized system setting. This 500g Fujitsu LifeBook UH900 will be available starting January 2010 with undisclosed price.

Dell Studio 17 Touch Notebook

Dell has added another new member to their existing Studio family. The latest Dell Studio 17, introduced as an unique touch notebook that come with a full touchscreen display where you can interact with your digital items similar to HP touchsmart PC. Dell Studio 17 Touch Notebook featuring 17.3-inch multitouch screen, running on the latest Windows 7 OS, carrying the 2.1GHz Pentium dual-core T4300 or Core i7 processor, 8GB of DDR3, built-in intel GMA 4500MHD graphic card, 1TB of Storage, and HD Ready.

You would also find several useful ports on Dell Studio 17 Touch Notebook, such as USB 2.0, eSATA port, HDMI and Displayport, VGA and FireWire. Dell Studio 17 Touch Notebook will cost you $899 to get one. However, we have no release info yet of this 7.08lbs touch laptop.

Rumor: Sony PSP2 with Multi-touch Screen

Is it true? Oh, I’m so excited about this rumor. PSP2 is rumored to be having a multi-touch screen technology to level-up the gaming experience. Here is a little statement from IGN that stated there are several credible source told them about the coming soon PSP2:

IGN has learned from several credible sources that the PSP 2 is indeed on the horizon, and will be packing multi-touch technology. According to our sources, the PSP 2 will feature a widescreen multi-touch interface comparable to that of the iPhone for both in-game control and menu navigation. Unfortunately, we were unable to secure any additional details on the alleged new system, but this latest batch of rumors seems to fall in line with other recent claims orbiting the vast recesses of the internet.

This latest batch of rumors comes on the heels of an allegedly official Sony survey leaked by enthusiast blog, PSPFanboy.com, which asked consumers what features would compel them the most to buy a new PSP. Among the choices offered by the survey were a touch screen interface, Bluetooth support, an integrated hard drive, GPS, and nationwide wireless networking. If true, the survey seems to further suggest that Sony is in the process of drastically revising the PSP’s core hardware.

But somehow the Sony representatives refuse to telling the truth and unwilling to accept the rumors about the PSP2 when the IGN folks contact them about the rumor. Well, let’s just hope it’s true.
