Samsung is pumping up their factory to produce the new 3.5-inch 100GB and 200GB SSD that uses 40nm class single level Cell (SLC) NAND Flash chips for the Enterprise level usage. The SSD will be able to random read commands at 47,000 IOPS(input/output per second) and randomly writes at 29,000 IOPS.

After successfully producing 30nm NAND Flash chip, Samsung Electronic is currently moving forward into the stage of 20nm.
