<p>OCZ, the SSD specialist and manufacturer has rolled out a news SSD variant called <strong>OCZ Enyo</strong>. This Enyo is a Solid State Drive that stand on the new standard. Which mean it has been treated with the USB 3.0 interface, promising transfer rate up to 260MB/s on some higher model.</p>
<p>OCZ Enyo USB 3.0 SSD will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB with all three of them using MLC NAND Flash memory and 64MB onboard cache plus USB 3.0 Micro B connector interface.</p>
<p><span id="more-15252"></span>For the transfer speed, the 64GB has the lowest transfer rate at 225MB/s for read, and up to 135MB/s for the write speed and capable of sustaining the write speed at 40MB/s. The other two higher models (128GB and 256GB) boosting the 260MB/s read speed and 200MB/s on write speed while its sustained speed is at 150MB/s.</p>

Namely the Lite version (or Colossus LT) which has 3.5-inch model and internal RAID 0 with dual controller design. OCZ Colossus is based on MLC NAND Flash memory module, and it has been coming onboard with 128MB cache memory with background Garbage collection supports.</p>
<p>OCZ Colossus LT has nice black matte lightweight aluminum brushed case protecting the component inside. There are 4 models in total, which is the 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB capacity model. OCZ Colossus LT provides up to 260 MB/s of reading speed, as well as writing speed at the equal 260 MB/s.</p>

However, SSD provide better protection for your important data. So if you have lots of data to store, you might consider spending some of your fortune on these OCZ Colossus SSDs.</p>

<p>Now here is something that might startled you. The price you&#8217;ll have to pay is as expensive as one high-end gaming notebook or desktop at $2,500! Whoops&#8230;</p>

Perhaps you have known, SSD could extend your laptop battery life because it use smaller power than the conventional hard drive. In this Agility Series, user could get a better performance and less power consumption SSD at a reasonable price.</p>
