There is an infinite ways to make use of LEGO building blocks. Even it’s a toy that kids would play, the toy remains evergreen even for the grown-up. There have been a lot of things made with LEGO blocks, and most of them are amazing and likely better. I’ve seen the blocks made for a PC case, but this version made by Mike Schropp is really amazing.

This LEGO PC Case is made out of 2,000 black LEGO blocks, excluding the transparent acrylic on the doors and top cover. What’s cool is not the case along. Mike the builder has designed that the PC case mod would be able to house a 12-core PC beast inside this creative PC case.

According to the spec list, this PC case is hosting three Quad cored CPUs (Core i7) along with it’s cooler, one motherboard, SSDs storage, DDR3 memory, eight large fans and one modified PSU to keep the 12-core beast properly fed.

You can find more details and Mike’s site. It will be a good blueprint as according to the creator, building this 3 CPUs PC is more power efficient than build them separately.

Sometimes a fan of a stuff can do crazy things because they are so in love with their “stuff”. Well, I wouldn’t dare to spend thousands to get my “heroes” merchandises or even have to mod my computer into something so “space eating” to just make sure that my friends (or the world) knows that I’m a fan of my ‘hero’. Well, that’s only me. Different story told by this amazing member called Boddaker from Cooler Master Forum.

Obviously, Boddaker is a PC enthusiast, and at the same time he is a true ‘Tron Legacy’ fans. Fans can contribute in unlimited kind of ways to show their love and passion, so Boddaker as a PC enthusiast, has re-created the popular vehicle in the movie – the Light Cycle as his computer case!

See? that’s what a fan could do – I would call it crazy stuff, but also admired their devotion their something they love. This amazing Tron Legacy Light Cycle PC Case is put together with acrylic board using Plasti-Paste outline. All of the components have been arranged neatly into the center room of the light cycle, where you can view it through the transparent glass side door glowed with blue LED lights.

Obviously, this case mod is one of the coolest case modding of the year for Tron Legacy. Well done Boddaker! It’s nice that the Tron Keyboard and mouse also make their appearance in the photo.

I’m not sure if it’s big foot or not, I can only see 5 mud friendly wheels installed on an IN WIN griffin-Y PC case. So what’s make this custom modification special?

I would like to say that the Shovel is completely useless. But the fog lights might be a little useful when you are gaming in the dark room. However, the casemod shouldn’t able to move around like a real car or remote controlled car. It’s just a decoration to turn the PC case into a land rover(?) type of car that looks very strong and macho. However, how “Macho” this PC will be is still depend on what has hosted inside.

No further information has been reported by Technabob regarding the specification. While the case mod looks pretty interesting, we are still hoping the the creator has included some cool specs as well.

Morphius Robot Case Mod was crafted by hand in clay as the basic sculpture, and then the clay model was reproduced again in Silicone mold and finally being re-created using Fiberglass and resin finished with car paints. The Morphius Robot case mod looks very similar with the concept drawing and Maciel Barreto has spent months to create this coolest Case mod from start to finish.

Well Done, Buddy!

A clever NVIDIA enthusiast (Bill Owens) has created a really cool PC Case mod for NVIDIA ION. The PC itself is an NVIDIA ION ITX motherboard based, sports x4 SSD from Corsair, 4GB of RAM and 90-watt Pico Power Supply. The case mod is an award winning NVIDIA Cube PC case, where the casing sports a cool lighting effects using UV green acrylic sheets, light up using 4 cathode lights and the whole PC will turn 360 degrees above the NVIDIA logo stand, giving a mysterious Alien-like and futuristic feeling for the viewer.
You may not love this if you are not a kitchen dweller. But for Chefs, this Stove PC case mod might hit red bull eye. Featuring a realistic oven and four cooker stove at the top, the Czech modder even added a ‘gas burning’ effects using blue LED illumination when you turn on the PC. The modder called it “Project MiniCooker PC”, which I think it’s pretty cool and perhaps you can add something like a USB cup heater above the PC to heat your beverage. Awesome. But chef, don’t cook your meal here.

It’s certainly a stunning PC case mod and it’s absolutely state of arts. It make my favorite Half-life 2 PC Case mod turn into nothing as cool as this Pyramid PC Case Mod. The specification of this PC Mod is as follow, if you are interested to build the same power house (without the custom made Pyramid, of course) click on each link to check the price at our shopping channel:

The most interesting spot for me is the top of the pyramid. It gives a sense of mysterious feeling to my nerves, and the glowing blue basement that looks like an Alien space ship or something similar.

It’s very impressive to build such a good PC case in a short time. She also put in a water cooling system with 3 big fans for better air circulation. The design is absolutely cool, especially the big inner space and that Lambda sign as the logo of the cylindrical transparent container. Two thumbs up for this PC Case mod!

In the last 2 months, I’ve seen some bloody cool Nintendo Wii Case Mod which really sucked a lot of attention from my reader. Now, instead of another Wii case modification, Mr.H. from Japan modified his PC case using Nintendo Wii hard shell as his PC case.

Nintendo Wii PC Case Mod

Because of the limited space of Nintendo Wii Case, the specification of this PC case mod also pretty low. Mr.H., who’ve done this great work, only capable of squeezing in an Intel Celeron Processor (speed unspecified), 512Mb RAM, 40GB HDD, 3 USB ports, and a Windows XP.

Glowing LED on Wii PC Case Mod

But it’s indeed cooler since Mr.H. equipped his Mod with a nice green LED glows around the disc tray. I would really love to have thing like this, but the spec seem really not interesting for performance chaser like me.

Yep, this little case can store up to 7 hard drives. I’m not sure how is the placement inside this dark knight personal design. Ah wait up! Personal Design by Dark Knight?! LOL, it’s not impossible though… But this PC case is designed by a Mod Master, Kevin Core.

Check out the show case at eBay Auction.

Ops… The auction is closed, the item is sold!
