Sometimes a fan of a stuff can do crazy things because they are so in love with their “stuff”. Well, I wouldn’t dare to spend thousands to get my “heroes” merchandises or even have to mod my computer into something so “space eating” to just make sure that my friends (or the world) knows that I’m a fan of my ‘hero’. Well, that’s only me. Different story told by this amazing member called Boddaker from Cooler Master Forum.

Obviously, Boddaker is a PC enthusiast, and at the same time he is a true ‘Tron Legacy’ fans. Fans can contribute in unlimited kind of ways to show their love and passion, so Boddaker as a PC enthusiast, has re-created the popular vehicle in the movie – the Light Cycle as his computer case!

See? that’s what a fan could do – I would call it crazy stuff, but also admired their devotion their something they love. This amazing Tron Legacy Light Cycle PC Case is put together with acrylic board using Plasti-Paste outline. All of the components have been arranged neatly into the center room of the light cycle, where you can view it through the transparent glass side door glowed with blue LED lights.

Obviously, this case mod is one of the coolest case modding of the year for Tron Legacy. Well done Boddaker! It’s nice that the Tron Keyboard and mouse also make their appearance in the photo.

Every new PC case that I saw lately has started to place USB 3.0 port into the play. They’ve started to include USB 3.0 as one of the basic requirement. The recent SilverStone Raven RV03 is one of them. They’ve included twin USB 3.0 ports on their top I/O panel along with audio ports.

Silverstone Raven RV03 is a Full tower PC case that supports all Micro ATX, ATX and Extended ATX Motherboard. Inside the case, there is a compartment made ready to host up to ten 3.5-inch internal hard drives, two 2.5-inch SSD/laptop HDD, eight expansion slots and three fans. There are total of seven 5.25-inch drive bays made ready to add your devices (optical drives, hdd adapters, etc).

There is a transparent shield at the side door where you can view your devices while running. If you have equipped yourself with the glowing and shinning devices (GPUs, CPU cooler, etc), it will be a nice window to take a peek at.

Just released, the Define XL PC Case by Fractal Design. This PC Case has an interesting design, where all you can see is a flat straight front cover without any thing at all! Yes, it’s simply plain and minimalistic. However, at the top side you can find the Front I/O panel that has been equipped with a couple of USB, power buttons and some ports.

You will see what’s inside after flipping open the front flat face door of Define XL PC Case. There are 4 5.25-inch drive bays made available for you, and there are 2 big spaces for installing 140mm cooling fans, too.

The most amazing features of Fractal Design Define XL PC Case is the ten HDD trays inside the case. It has been pre-fitted with noise absorbing materials, and it’s enough for you to installed Terabytes of storage in that spots. Since the HDD trays is fitted in a close range, it’s make sense that the front cooling fans (that continuously suck cool air into the PC case) has to be big and needs two of them to properly cool down the temperature.

To keep the circulation system working, there are two more option to install a big ass cooling fan to exhaust all the hot air. There is one spot for 140mm fan at the rear side, and another big on 180mm fan on the top of the case.

The case’s overall weight is 17.95kg, available in two versions, The Pearl Black and Titanium Grey. They are going to hit the store for £139.99 ($215.6).

The HAF 912 is the new gaming PC case unveiled by Cooler Master, the popular PC case maker. This HAF 912 PC case is exposing four 5.25-inch bays in the front panel with a front I/O panel (consist of two USB 2.0 ports, audio-out port, microphone port) just above the top 5.25-inch bay.

This Cooler Master HAF 912 Mid Tower Gaming PC case is water-cooling system friendly, which mean it has come with pre-drilled holes for watercooling tubing (three of them). You can also find 120mm powerful (1200RPM fans in the front sucking air into the case, and at the rear side there is another fan exhausting the hot air and create a good air circulation to keep the components cool.

The Cooler Master HAF 912 PC Case is weighs in 8Kg, measuring in 230 x 480 x 496 mm, comes with modular drive cages, removable dust filters at the bottom and front cover.

It looks pretty sturdy and somehow it gave me an image of an expensive case above the level of $100. However, that’s not true at all. Cooler Master PC case for gaming system is going to hit the store for $60 only. Pretty cheap, eh?

The first model of SilverStone Precision PS01 has a grey interior, however, in this refreshed version, SilverStone PS01 is now coming with Black Interior. Aside from the design, SilverStone PS01 is lighter than its predecessor (about 0.26kg in difference).

Thermaltake in cooperation with NVIDIA has rolled out a new interesting full tower chassis built for gamer and NVIDIA fans. The Element V NVIDIA Edition is a PC case that has been fully certified by NVIDIA to accomadate their latest GPU series, which is the GeForce GTX 470 and GeForce GTX 480 graphic cards.

The PC case itself support up to 11 x 5.25-inch drive bays, which is more than enough for a casual gamers to use. According to Thermaltake, the drive bays could be configured as 6 x 3.5-inch hard drives and one 2.5-inch HDD or SSD while leaving the rest for media drives.

The Thermaltake Element V NVIDIA Edition has a unique header design, where you can find a knob to control the cooling system called “air duct” for GPU, and you can also find 4 x USB 2.0 ports, HD Audio ports, and eSATA port.

The MSRP is $219.99, however, you can find it selling as cheap as $159.99 in some merchants listed in the price comparison below.

HAF (High Air Flow) X is a full tower PC chassis, introduced exclusively for gamers and overclockers who fond of high-end PC Case that looks cool and can significantly cooling down the inner temperature and improving performance.

Lian Li has to go with USB 3.0 with their PC case by releasing their new HTPC desktop PC case the TYR PC-X2000F with integrated USB 3.0 ports at the top of the case.

This Lian Li TYR PC-X2000F has 4 5.25-inch drive bay, but it’s not positioned at the front like usual. Instead, Lian Li has placed their ‘mouth’ at the side panel. It’s certainly a new unique design that you can’t see it anywhere yet. At the same time, Lian Li TYR PC-X2000F HTPC Case also coming with one 4.5-inch drive.

Lian Li TYR PC-X2000F HTPC PC Case has a spacious room for hard drives, where it got 7 tool-free HDD mounting racks that support SAS hot swappable HDDs. As you can figure out, there are five 140mm silent fans, with three at the front (intake) and two at the back (exhaust). Although the HTPC PC case doesn’t come with a water cooling system, it should be able to let your machine work in a cool environment with the amount of fans installed.

Moving to the top, beside you can find four USB 3.0 ports, you can also enjoy other features such as e-SATA and multimedia port with HD audio.

The popular PC case manufacturer Thermaltake has unveiled a new series of Mid-Tower PC case for the market. It dubbed as V5 Black Edition, this Mid Tower PC case is coming with a large, reinforced handle on the top of the casing to let you carry the PC easily. Though there is no such a great element design on the front face, this PC case is aiming for the usability instead of appearance.

Thermaltake V5 Black Edition PC case has nine 5.25-inch bays, one front panel (include USB, eSATA, and Audio Ports), one PSU holder with dust filter at the bottom, and a drive case for 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch HDDs or SSDs.

For cooling purpose, ThermalTake V5 Black Edition Mid Tower PC case has included two fans, where you can find one 120mm (1300RPM) fan at the rear, and one 200mm (800RPM) at the top. Thermaltake V5 Black Edition Mid-Tower case has a stealth black paintjob (from inside-out), and there are some LED lights on the fans to give a better looking. from the upper side.

Lian Li PC Chassis manufacturer from China has just released an strange looking of PC Case dubbed ad Lian Li PC-T1R Spider Case. Since it’s known as the Spider case, this PC-T1R has legs to stand and a body design that looks like a spider.

Weird though, Lian Li PC-T1R has only 4 legs as the support of the body, where usually a spider should have 6 to 8 legs in total. Perhaps there is some kind of cost-reduction policy to save money on the extra legs with no functionality at all (as decoration only). Lian Li PC-T1R spider case is a microATX form factor, where it can hold up an mATX motherboard only.

Judging from the image, Lian Li PC-T1R spider case is an aluminum case that offer no protection to the motherboard. When installed properly, the motherboard is looking like the head of the spider with one eye (the CPU headsink). When going down behind the motherboard, you will get a space to store hard drive, optical drive or other small components as the body, while the PSU as the bottom of the spider.

There is no release date yet for Lian Li PC-T1R but it has the pricing of €150 around $204 when released.
