Damn cool gold PS3 Slim, I should say. If you are mad for gold, this 24K gold coated PS3 Slim edition will surely blow you away and It will eventually cost you a small fortune to own it as the Gold edition is available in limited 5 pieces only!

If you can own one if this, it’s like owning the world’s rarest pieces of treasure ever made for gaming console. The 24 Gold coated PS3 Slim is made by Computer-Choppers, unfortunately, there is no pricing detail offered in their site. But I can assure you, it won’t be a bargain items where you can drop some small dollars to own it.

After some type of fake screenshots of slim PS3 from Chinese manufacturer and rumors, it turn out the stuff is real and there is a welcomed price cut, too! The new PS3 is now slimmer, cheaper, and sexier. Sadly, there is no words about the backward compatibility. It seems you still can’t play your PS2 games with this little beast.

If you are interested to get one of the slim edition for yourself, Amazon.com has it for pre-order with unknown release date. The price is only $299.99 now, certain cheaper from the original edition and it comes with 120GB of hard drive to store your games and saves. This is a great news, but there is a better news for PS3 gamer. The reason news we’ve received through our reader is that Sony get another cool 250GB Slim PS3 in this Fall (September) with undisclosed price.

Perhaps you should wait until then before landing your money on the 120GB version. (via Crunchgear)

There is a lot of buzz lately about the PS3 redesigning rumor. No one have the actual news and acknowledgment from Sony yet but it seems this is a promising rumor since Sony can cut a lot of cost in manufacturing each machine and will find a better option to either shipping or storing.

If the new PS3 Slim Edition looks like above picture, It will certainly have a good selling point for Sony and at the same time gamer will get a better price to own one.

Well, to be honest. PS3 is one of my dream machine. I would rather buy the slim edition because beside price will be cheaper, I can find a better place to keep and store the machine (the current shape is pretty bulky).
