If you are getting an iPad tablet for your home usage and you are not planning to bring around in your bag, this nice little Wooden Retro TV iPad dock might be suitable for you. Since you are not going to bring it around, you are left with the choice to put it on the table or desk. Retro TV iPad dock is made for that purpose and it’s practically want to turn your modern tablet into an “ancient” television set to cure your retro syndrome. Watching retro movies are great with such settings.

As for the compatibility, this wooden retro TV iPad dock is compatible with both iPad and iPad 2, but sadly you can’t fit in both if you have them. Another fact is that this Retro TV iPad Dock is hand made. You can order one at Etsy right now for $60, but expect to have some delay on your order, unless there is a stock left in the seller’s inventory.

Since it’s handmade and made with wood, you should definitely get this iPad dock if you fall in to these categories:

You are eco lover – like everything natural and made from wood

You haven’t own any iPad dock for your iPad tablet yet

$60 is a reasonable level of price for handcrafted items. handmade cases like Vaja alone has cost way over the limit, excluding the materials itself. You can also consider that you are buying an artwork that is useful for your tablet. Well, head on over to Etsy for more details.

It’s been a while. School live is the best thing I ever had and all of the tools and stationary will bring back my sweet memories when I spotted one.

This Old School Red Pencil has pretty much done the job. It reminds me of the old days where I was scolded by teacher because I’ve forgotten to brought a pencil for my drawing class. Well, however, this red pencil is not that drawing pencil that I’ve mentioned just now. It’s a modern stylus with classical twist using that old school red pencil shape.

The eraser at the other end of this Red Pencil stylus is a fake one. Don’t expect you can erase your files or text with this buddy. It will works on any iOS powered devices, Android phones or anything else that has a touchscreen display (e.g. tablet, netbook, monitor, etc.).

Well, if you are interested, this pencil stylus is only $9.99 and you can get it at Thinkgeek.

This is the NES Controller iPhone 4 case that recently has been set to sell on GeekStuff4U.

For those who’ve got a retro taste residing in their nerves, this new FujiFilm FinePix X100 digital camera is a must-have type of gadget for them. The reason is that FujiFilm released their latest digital camera in a full retro-matter. Black leather case, metal body.

It’s so fine and sweet. FujiFilm FinePix X100 really has bring back those old memories using this retro X100. It also sports the similar functionality, where the camera lens is interchangeable. However, FujiFilm FinePix X100 is kind of a old body with fresh new soul. The outside might looks retro, but the inner beauty is absolutely different.

FujiFilm FinePix X100 digital camera has been equipped with 12.3 MP APS-C CMOS sensor, EXR Processor, 23mm F2 Fujinon Aspherical Lens, an unequaled Hybrid Viewfinder, 200-6400 ISO sensitivity, SD/SDHC and SDXC memory card reader, as well as a 2.8-inch bright LCD display.

FYI: Definition of Hybrid ViewFinder

The Hybrid Viewfinder on the FinePix X100 combines the window-type “bright frame” optical viewfinder found in high-end film cameras such as 35mm or medium-format cameras, and the electronic viewfinder system incorporated in fixed single lens or mirrorless digital cameras. By using integrating a prism for the 1,440,000 dot LCD panel image on the viewing screen in the reverse-Galilean optical finder, the Hybrid Viewfinder can show both the shooting frame and a variety of shooting data. Of course, it can also be used as a high-quality electronic viewfinder to compose or playback shots. With this ability to instantly switch between optical and electronic viewfinder images with simple “one touch” control. The new Hybrid Viewfinder offers users expanded freedom in the composition and enjoyment of photography in a range of challenging shooting conditions.

While digital compact cameras have become ever slimmer and more compact in recent years, composing and viewing shots on large, higher resolution LCD panels on the back of the camera has become the mainstream practice for today’s users. On the other hand, shooting with an optical viewfinder is the standard practice for conventional film cameras and the preferred method for large numbers of digital camera owners. Many prefer the finder to be as close as possible to the eye so the user can focus attention exclusively on photo composition to get a clear view of the subject without distraction.

While traditionalists prefer the clear, sharp view of an ‘optical’ finder, modern electronic displays, giving data like shutter speed, aperture, white balance, exposure correction and sensitivity can aid the photographer tremendously. The new Hybrid Viewfinder on the FinePix X100 aims to give the user the ‘best of both worlds’.

For everyone geeky out there, here is a ‘tasty’ couch that you might fall in love in the first sight. The Space Invaders Couch, designed by Igor Chak, is an ultimate couch that has the cute alien looking from the old school era. The couch is getting the maximum glossiness, while the seat is especially conform by the memory foam tailored in all leather materials.

The Space Invader Couch is extremely cool for the retro geek who just can’t let go their childhood memory of blasting the Alien out of the sky. But you wouldn’t dare to blast this cool couch away even it is thy alien.

The Cassette Tape iPod Speaker has one 3.5 mm audio jack, so you might be able to use it somewhere else that has the 3.5 mm port. The problem now is we don’t know how this Cassette Tape iPod Speaker sounds like. For a $20 gadget, I guess the sound quality will be so-so. You might just want to buy its shape instead of its sound quality…
