Yes, It’s looks very plain if you want to compare it with other bluetooth speakers. But if you can flourish your imagination, this new I-O Data bluetooth stereo speakers looks much like Wall-E head, especially the rounded eyes.

This is The CPSK/BT Bluetooth speaker, compatible with 2.1+EDR, A2DP, 1.2, AVRCP 1.0, HFP 1.5, HSP1.1 and so on. You can power it up via AC adapter or plug it to your PC/Mac using USB power. It worth 10 hours of play time for each recharge (need up to 180 min. to fully recharged) and it compatible with iPhone (OS 3.0 only) and most phone with hands-free system.

The zoom image will show you the buttons on the top, which consist of play/pause, minus and plus (volume) ffwd / rew buttons.

K-Box is a new product launched by Kerchoonz.com which is compatible with most of gadgets which could product sounds such as MP3 player, iPod, Laptop or even your smart phones (with certain feature needed).

The creator claimed that K-Box can turn any kind of surface, even your wall into a HUGE speaker by placing K-Box on them. I guess it’s similar with I-MU Vibro Speaker, but K-Box is not using a vibration to causes the sounds. K-Box uses a new technology titled as “Gel Audio Technology” and beside providing a good sounds, it also has a truly incredible bass response.

Some say the sound could be at a deafening state, but It seems it’s depend on what kind of surface you using at. If you are curious with this K-Box, it’s now available at a retail price of £39.99 (about $62) and you can get it at Kerchoonz.

Warwick Audio Technologies has designed a super thin Speaker, not even a quarter of milimeter in thickness and they claimed that the thin speaker can produce a good quality of sound to spoiled audiophiles.

It’s even better because you can cut the shapes into anything else, or bend it to suit any terrain such as sticking them into your bike or car.

The speaker material is a laminate composed of sandwiched insulators and conductors, which with the addition of the electrical audio signal, vibrates and produces a planar wave with high directivity and precise imaging. The wave spreads evenly across a listening room or audience and doesn’t drop off sharply based on distance. Warwick has also expounded upon the fact that FFLs are inexpensive to manufacture, meaning that they could be a viable option for basic home and car audio.

Warwick describes the speakers as efficient and low power, driven by voltage and dissipating little current into heat. Distortion is also said to be minimal. This statement offers a very promising glimpse: “By significantly improving the electrical to audio efficiency, we have broken the conventional link between the power rating and the loudness of a speaker. The loudness of cone speakers is often linked to the electrical power consumption. This is not a relevant relationship for the FFL.” Perhaps, in addition to space, you can save a little money on the amplifier.

The only thing to ask now is when this technology going to hit the market? It would be wonderful and which this type of thin speaker, it will open up a lot of opportunities for people in designing their new home or rather adding up aesthetic in their home because they can actually eliminate the use of large audio equipment.

e-Pod is an interesting fun iPod dock concept design. It’s actually a 3-in-1 docking gadget for iPod, a combination of Movie Projector, Digital Alarm Clock and a speaker with woofer.

It looks so cool. But e-Pod is still in the concept stage and we have no further data or information about when e-Pod will hit the market. More picture are available at My Modern Metropolis.

SoundShelf is a combination between sound system gadget and a shelf / furniture of our home. It’s indeed a bright and brilliant idea since most of us enjoy reading book while hearing some nice tune of music. Beside it will be helpful for us to digest the book content well, music can help us relax at any moment you preferred.

There are two type of SoundShelf concept design according to designers Witek Stefaniak and Anielka Zdanowicz. First is the book shelf and second is a CD/DVD shelf.

This concept design will help us save most of our home’s space by mixing two furniture/gadget together (similar to Speaker Shelf). It’s very stylish and I would have one of them for my home if I can buy the physical product (still a concept now)!

For a second, this speaker doesn’t look like a speaker to my perspective. It looks more like an afro hair, the groovy one.

Just switch the underneath part with some faces of disco dance star and you shall get what I mean. It’s very funny and colorful because it have 4 colors selection from Black, blue, Yellow and Pink.

The balloon speaker has an internal rechargeable battery and you can recharge it via USB using a 3.5mm jack to USB converter.

The battery life time is expected to be around 2+ hours and you can use it anywhere as long as a 3.5mm audio port or USB (via the converter) is available. It’s only $76 and you can get it at GeekStuff4U.com.

Sounds funny but this speaker is truly an art. Sherwood Forlee, the artist behind this speaker design using two definition of “speaker”, which are:

1. Device that converts electrical energy into sound waves, and
2. Someone who expresses in language

combining them into one and that’s where “Speak-Er” born. it’s both cool and full of humor senses. Although this product haven’t yet touch the market, it has made a quiet big bubbles around the blogosphere.

Now, I’m just curious how this speak-er sounds like? Although it sounds like a normal speaker, I will still choose this one as my pc companion. Just Simply Cool!
