For you who’ve been chasing around the street for a steampunk gadgets, you might find this Steampunk Xbox 360 mod an interesting creation that worth your applause.

Created by a guy called Robert (view his Facebook profile), he has showdown his magnificent work over at Brass Goggles. His Steampunk Xbox 360 mod (the phat model) is very elegant, but less rusty than any steampunk mod I’ve ever seen.

Robert painted it with wood look finish, and added several gears at the side. You can view the details of his work at BrassGoggles forum.

If you are fancy for a cool steampunk style weapons, you’ll find this Primitus Steampunk Gun mod an interesting weapon mod.

Made by the geekiest Steampunk soul – Brandon from War Paint Artisans, this Primitus gun is his first steam-themed mods that took about 6 hours (around 2 hours for 3 nights) to finish the work using a Nerf gun as the basic foundation. If you are not familiar with Nerf gun, it’s a fun war toy that shot out ammos with suction cup.

The gun is dubbed “Primitus” because it’s the first of my steam-themed mods, save for a hand-full of tiny pop guns that I painted at the last Oktoberfest Belegarth event. Primitus took me approximately 6 hours worth of work, spread across three nights which was mostly spent sanding off the Nerf logos and doing all of the dremel detail with my battery starved Mini-Mite. The chief inspirations for it are Samaritan from Hellboy and the ever impressive Dreameater by Professor Ca T Pardus.

It’s a great job that worth applause. Can’t wait to see what he will come up next.

No idea when steampunk gadget is very popular, but this Steampunk Stormtrooper helmet is absolutely ‘Must Have’ for Star Wars warriors because it looks so cool and steampunk. The style is completely re-worked, turning the all white surface into a rusty steels (the symbolic pattern of a steampunk style gadgets) and screwed like a Frankenstein. It is completely a remix between the steam oriented Steampunk and Star War’s Stormtrooper.

The steampunk stormtrooper helmet is made by Brain Rood. Obviously, it can be seen from the blog of the creator that he is a lover of stormtrooper helmet. You can see many unique modifications of stormtrooper helmet from Star Wars. But I prefer the latest one, which has a bronze appearance with many steampunk accessories, which make the helmet look like from post-holocaust instead of outer space.

The Creator, Brain Rood is going to sell this Steampunk Stormtrooper on the Auction in the near future, but no idea when it is. If you want to know more, head on over to the creator blog.

Check out these steampunk style audio speakers built from a PVC pipe. Apparently, the PVC pipes were brushed or painted with chrome color, turning the PVC pipe into a rusty piece of steel pipe (which is the Steampunk’s favorite) with each end of the hole being covered and screwed with 3-inch magnesium/aluminum alloy full range main driver and one 20mm textile dome tweeter.

This Steampunk Steam Pipe Audio Speaker is created by Ikyaudio, a creative audio equipment merchant at Etsy. Well, as usual, Etsy is the nest of creative souls who’s capable of transforming trashes into treasures. This Steampunk Steam Pipe Audio Speaker is no exception. I’m not sure though how is the sound quality when you plug it to your audio player, but costing at $279 a pop, I believe the creator is using high-end drivers and tweeters that could promise a “not too shabby” audio performance for steampunk fans.

Dave Scultze from Schultzeworks Design has come up with a magnificent PC Concept design called ‘Philco PC’. From the specification edge, you might see nothing so cool about. However, Philco PC is a concept PC about merging artistic, antique typewriters and steampunk style with technology into one brand new Concept PC. You might have seen some of Steampunk PC concept here at Hardware Sphere, but this type of blending is the coolest ever.

The Philco PC was strongly inspired by 1954 TV design and an antique Typewriter. However, the display unit has implemented the slim design and probably an LED-based screen. This type of PC (if it ever exists) will be the best fit for modern reporter who valued the retro environment.

If you are a die-hard steampunk stuffs lover, you might consider this 4GB flash drive a bargain from the warehouse. But for me who is just a so-so fans, it’s a killer price and I would rather but an gaming notebook to cure my game-sick. Well, there is nothing wrong with the 4GB flash drive. The steampunk mod is also nicely done with the mix of brass and copper material. But $3,000 a pop is really way out of my reach.

You know, most of the modding nowadays often breaking the warranty to turn the case into something prettier. Such as the modding done by lots of mod artist similar to the Hellboy Xbox 360 mods, the bloody cool Nintendo Wii Mods, or the ben heck portable xbox 360 mods.

However, this new PS3 console mod is different. No internal parts modification so the warranty still keep in place. This PS3 Steampunk mod featuring wood veneer finish and brass detailing. The modder is just making the Face of PS3 console to wear a custom made ‘mask’. I’m not sure if I’m going to do this to my PS3, but at least this is a cool stuff for Steampunk fan.

I found this steampunk flash drive while browsing around Etsy.com. It’s a cool handcrafted steampunk art on a 2GB jump drive, wrapped carefully with copper plate.

From its look, I saw an image of a war tank, a mini sized steampunk tank. The crafter, qacreate is using vintage clock and watch gearing to make tank top of this steampunk jump drive.

Added to it was a stack of brass gears with wonderful detail. As an added accent, I encased a few gears within a clear casing at the end of the flash drive.

I’m not a fan for Steampunk, but this Steampunk PC mod is really cool and worth big applause for cool thing chaser like me.

Steampunk Mod on PC

This cool steampunk PC mod is the mastermind of Australia-based Mad Uncle Cliff. The main attraction for me is the speaker that looks like an Alien eyes that you would see in Spore PC game.

Inside this cool steampunk PC mod is actually a full-fledged PC, complete with the monitor and speakers. The round shaped construction at the back is actually the PC itself.

If I’m really in the steampunk group and love those steampunk stuffs, I really can’t put my knife into that cake coz it’s so freakin’ cool!

It would be better to treasure it, store it in a big transparent fridge and make it as a collection on my own steampunk gallery. But cake is cake. It looks very delicious, especially it’s chocolate driven. Munch munch, going to fill them to my stomach no matter how cool it is!
