It certainly amazing where thinking money isn’t a problem when trying to but a “thing” that considered as a hobby. I would really want to buy a rare wood i-go chess table (that worth tenth thousands of dollars!) for my chess session because I love playing chess. Now, in case you are fans snooker (and you are rich), you might want to check out this amazing G-1 Glass pool table.

Created by Nottage Design, this G-1 Glass pool table is crafted with all glass surface and it’s transparent where you can see all the legs’ frame from the above. The glass itself is 15mm thick, toughened and coming with powder coat paint job. The glass surface itself looks very cool, but I’m sure doing a trick shoot in this type of surface is very challenging.

I have introduced this transparent pool table in the past, but in case you haven’t read it, this video can help you figure out what this G-1 pool table is all about:

Now, if price isn’t your problem, you can own this cool glass pool table for £34,999 at Firebox. Any naysayer?

Well, if you are going to use such a table for your dining table, then it might be a waste. However, if you can use it on somewhere attractive, e.g. where lots of people can enjoy and envy about, that would be a great investment.

Intrepid designer Dennis Vetu has come up with such kind of interesting Light table called Arbonata Light table. Before you flow some electricity into the table, it looks like an ordinary wooden table. However, once you’ve run power into the desk with nice pixel tree root design flourishing the surface.

According to the designer, this Arbonata Light table is available in two color options, such as Black and Bamboo.

Created by Wouter Scheublin, this Walking Table is a mix of fun and creepy when you are actually seeing one. Imagine your kitchen table can move by its own, you’ll be freaked out. Well, no worry. This Walking table is not self-moving by any chance. You’ll have to put a pressure and push it forward in order it to move its legs.

This table is perfectly 10:1 scale of the original NES controller, with everything made in details (even the backplate that no body would flip it over to see was craft in details!). The console has been built-in and the creators are using custom springs and micro-switches to make the big buttons flawless.

From The Country of Singapore, a clever designer name Zyane Tan has designed a cool concept for Sony called ‘Sony Fusion Coffee Table‘. From the first picture above, you might have figure out what it is. It looks like a small chair, or a private coffee table where you can slip your feet below the rounded table surface, sitting comfortably on the floor and sip your favorite beverage on the table. However, the Sony Fusion Coffee Table is more than just a mere coffee tablet…

Sony Fusion is a coffee table that has been equipped with a high-technology fusion, where if you push the on button, the surface will split itself into two revealing the Sony Laptop inside. The screen can be adjust as desired, and the glowing keyboard is the modern type of touch sensitive keyboard (similar to the touchboard that I mentioned last year).

To stand firmly on the flat ground, the Sony Fusion Coffee Table is backed by two arc-shaped chrome legs positioned in a vertical manner, allowing you to place the Sony Fusion Coffee Table above your feet while sitting on the ground. There are three color choices available, red, green and white. It looks pretty cool for working in a dark room.

Oh okay, I have to admit that Chemistry Periodic Table of Elements is one of my nightmare when I was a student. But our teacher is smart enough to turn them into a nice sentences where we can remember it pretty easy despite of the handful of Codes. So I’m kind of flipping through my memory remembering those moments when seeing this Picnic Table that shaped like (exactly) a chemistry Periodic Table of Elements.

So if you are still a student who haven’t learn / remember those elements, this picnic table could help you remember them unconsciously while you are having your meals above it. But I have no idea where to get one for your home because it looks like a DIY table where you have to make it yourself if you love the idea of turning periodic table into a real table.

It’s a one HUGE diamond and yes, it also cost you a HUGE amount of money to buy it. The Bullet table is the creation of Alexandra Von Furtenberg, priced at the level of $15,000 a table, this is sure not for you who live on paychecks!

About why Alexandra named it “Bullet Table” instead of “Diamond Table”, I don’t have a clue. Perhaps there is some story behind that name, and it is not fully revealed in the description…

If you are interested to burn your money, more information is available at Bornrich and LA Times.

I think the main reason for us to buying new furniture (table, in this case) is because of we are getting bore of the design and feel. But now there is a concept that the designer, Johan Lindstén Form called it “Pixel” Table – a table where you can customize the look and feel to whatever you like!

Want a round table? customize it. Bore with round shape and want a diamond shape instead? just adjust it!

It might looks like the kubik’s cube pixel art or the DIY Cubic wall clock, but this stuff is a furniture instead of a toy.

Pixel, the adjustable table, you decide on your own how to design and present it. The table endures of three different modules; a cube, a leng and a stand for the leg.
– by Johan Lindstén Form

No word when this Pixel table concept to be materialize, so go to Johan page at lindstenform.com to start your concept dreaming.

There are two type of “Plug and Play” table. First is the one with lower dimension that provides up to 3 other socket at the desktop, and the other design is to have a shelf for your books and a night lamp for your dark room.

Design by Sung-Pil Hwang and the Nothing Design Group, the tables have a unique one leg style with the other side end with a power plug. clever, but you have to make sure that your power socket is strong enough the hold the burden of the table.

Until today, my first idea that popped up after hearing a pool table is a “green” coated table with a classic wood edge and body. I really don’t have further imagination that this green table would be transformed into a full Transparent table like this G1 from Australia Nottage Design. It’s really out of my imagination.

So Coool! I love pool especially the nine balls rule. I do play them with my friends sometimes and would really want to taste how is the exact feeling when hitting some balls with this G1 Transparent Pool table!

The transparent surface is called Vitrik that replicates the rolling resistance of a traditional felt playing. When you play your balls, it will give you the floating on air effect as the balls moves toward each other.

The traditional slate bed also switched into a 15mm thick toughened transparent glass. But that won’t affect your game play at all. G1 also feature an integrated ball return mechanism within its modern metal frame.

But such a cool pool table is only affordable for born rich guys. This G1 Transparent Pool Table is marked at the high $39,900 Australian dollars or equal to US$25K or so. If you are so into this pool table but can effort it, at least let this video help you to ‘feel’ it:

“This is definitely in the running for my favorite table of all time:

The entire top surface of the Time Table is a digital clock. The glowing digit segments are made of electro-luminescent film, which accounts for the thinness of the structure (6cm). The electronics include an alarm, and a timer to switch the light off at night. Additionally, the light can be turned on, or off anytime without affecting the time.”

This Digital clock is the same species as the huge digital wall clock which I’ve covered some days ago. It’s big size, and looks cool for your home furniture.

Designed by Ross McBride, this time table digital clock is a magnificent tool to help you remember your time and schedules well.
