Just like what we have told you in the previous Utility knife article, Iain Sinclair has launched handful of product that are pretty interesting. Most of them has the credit-card sized theme, where you can easily bring it within your pocket or wallet. This Poco Pro is one of them. It’s a 14MP digital camera that looks pretty cool because it’s super thin and support 1080p video recording.

Poco Pro digital camera 2.4-inch AMOLED display with touchscreen functionality at the rear side, and you can find twin Flash LED cramping the 14MP lens at the front side.

We are told that Poco Pro Digital Camera is capable of recording full HD Video, but no idea on what frame rate it will be running. We are assuming Poco Pro Digital camera to have 30fps for the baseline requirement, and the video will be recorded and stored in microSD card (up to 32GB).

Inside this 65 grams digital camera, user can find a horde of features that they’ll never thought they can get it on such a thin device. For details, Poco Pro credit-card sized 1080p 14MP digital camera is featuring auto focus, super macro, image stabilization, face recognition, a set of microphon with noise cancellation, a speaker and 3.5mm headphone jack.

Iain Sinclair Poco Pro Digital camera is set to be available in June next year for $300 (£200) or you can reserve one now for an early bird pric at $150 or £100.

BenQ has stood up to the public and said: “We have claimed the worlds slimmest title!” with their latest release of LED monitor models. Most of manufacturers tried hard to claim this title, but it is a true fact that BenQ is the first one to claimed the Slimmest LED Monitor title. Coded ad BenQ V2220, this LED Monitor has 15mm thickness only. Boasting 21.5-inch screen size, contrast ratio of 10,000,000:1, 1920 x 1080 HD resolution and it has HDMI and headphone connection.

Meanwhile, BenQ also released another slimmer model called BenQ V920, but it has a smaller screen size at 18.5-inch only (support 12661366 x 768) with the remaining feature stay the same.

BenQ V2220 and V920 LED Monitors has no pricing and availability information yet, but we could expect to see this couple to hit the store in Taiwan in the next few months and about June to see it selling at US and Europe market.

LG has just set another world’s record by introducing us their thinnest 2.6mm only LED LCD TV. This LED TV is based on LED-backlit technology similar to most of the recent release by its competitor. The revealed specs of this 2.6mm thick LED backlit HDTV is full HD support 1080p at 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, 4 kilograms in weights and it will be available in one model only at 42-inch.

Dr. In Jae Chung, LG Display’s CTO and Executive Vice President noted, “With the development of the world’s thinnest LED LCD TV panel that is only 2.6mm thick, LG Display has once again demonstrated its technical prowess to satisfy customer demand for high resolution and slim design products. We will continue to spur R&D activities in order to provide our customers and the market with the differentiated products that they desire.”

This LG 2.6mm thick LED LCD HDTV will be fully revealed on CES Exhibition next year on January 2010 in Sin City, Vegas.

After the long wait, Dell has finally releasing their Adamo XPS super thin laptop along with the specification. Dell Adamo XPS is absolutely the thinnest PC laptop that could slash Macbook into two. Measuring in just 9.9 thickness, weigh in just about 1.4kg, it might looks impossible to have a good specification. But it’s not true. Dell Adamo XPS is lightweight and super thin, but the specification is still great for professional.

Inside Dell Adamo XPS, you can find 1.4Ghz Intel ULV processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 128GB SSD, 13.4 inch HD screen (1,366 x 728) with heat sensor, and you can also found two USB 2.0 ports, headphone jack and mini display port.

The only downside on this Dell Adamo XPS is the battery life on its standard battery that worth 2.5 hours only. However, Dell Adamo XPS laptop can offers up to 5 hours of continuous operation if you are willing to drop more coins in exchange for its extended battery pack.

As I’ve expected, Dell Adamo XPS will cost above $1,500+ which now standing straight at the price tag of $1,799. No release date revealed yet, but for you who have a strict budget, you have to think twice before placing your order on this super thin laptop.

After the flexible speaker FleXpeaker, once again I’m feeling exciting about how our future home entertainment will be after Yamaha unveils their 1mm thin directional speakers! This speaker is very amazing on the thickness and how it delivers the sound to its hearer.

If you are a non-tech updated person, you might be fooled by the appearance that looks so much like a banner images. But when you stand on the right spot (indicated by the with foot print in the above picture), you will hear a sound played just for you.

No other listener will hear what’s playing without first moving into the zone/space and the sound playback won’t overlap with any other sounds from the surrounding. There was a concept from the past that use the similar technology called Oto-Shigure Umbrella 3D Speaker. A directional speaker that has its own ‘Sound Space’ so you can only hear sounds playback if you snug into the space. You might want to check the illustration on that page.

Clever stuff anyway, let’s hope Yamaha would push this super duper thin directional speaker to the market as soon as possible (so we can make our wall a seamless speaker!).

Razor thin, this is obviously razor thin. Well, the latest Dell Adamo XPS is really mind blowing because of the thinness could slice the current slimmest laptop into two (In this case a Macbook Air). Dell Adamo XPS has been revealed yesterday and most the attenders has been hypnotized by its thinnest of just about 1cm!

Damn that’s super thin! I wonder how the inner view of this slimmest laptop. How did they manage to squeeze the processor, board, hard drive and so on together?

No specification revealed yet so you now can do the guessing job by foretelling what’s will coming and the specs of this Dell Adamo XPS. I’m more curious about the screen that didn’t shown on the picture. Is the screen so thin that no one else could notice? Or Dell has used the super thin AMOLED layer technology to be the Adamo XPS screen? well, this is very interesting and worth to wait for…

Surprising, I thought there is no other company dare to compete with the thinnest laptop record. Dell recent released of its so called world’s first wireless chargeable notebook – the Dell Latitude Z has conquered the number 1 of the thinnest laptop as well! Let’s check out what the heck is this thing:

Well, Macbook Air, move aside. Let Dell’s Latitude Z get through to the center of the attention. This Dell Latitude Z worth the attention because beside the impressive feature it has, the design of this notebook simply cool. Powered by either Intel Core 2 Duo SU9600 1.6Ghz or Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 1.4Ghz processor, offering up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM and with a built-in 4500MHD graphic, this Dell Latitude Z can obviously handle most of the tasks you throw at it (Well, except hardcore gaming!).

Dell Latitude Z has a cool 16-inch WLED screen that could display up to 1600×900 pixel resolution, and the most interesting feature on the screen is the EdgeTouch technology where you are allows to interact with commonly used applications and media controls through a touch interface that is on the bezel of the system’s screen.

This wireless charging laptop also implementing a gesture-enabled touchpad similar to macbook air, and offering more feature that you can eat, such as the 2MP web camera, backlight keyboard, bluetooth, WiFi, Fingerprint scanner, eSATA/USB combo port, DisplayPort, an even a HSDPA/HSUPA/EVDO 3G modules.

It certainly worth the biggest attention from the tech world, but of course, this laptop is not a cheap stuff to own one because even the base rigs will cost you $2,000! That’s the level of one high-end gaming desktop.

MSI has introduced us their latest X400 ultra portable notebook and they’ve also come up with more detail specification and features. MSI X400 Ultraportable notebook is coming with an unique ‘personalized color bezel around the side of the frame and including the trackpad frame.

MSI X400 has been touted as the thinnest and lightest notebook in the market, beating all previous thinnest laptop system because this MSI X400 has only 1-inch of thickness and weighs in a mere 3.3 pounds.

MSI X400 is powered by Intel’s Consumer Ultra Low Voltage or CULV processor, running with 2GB RAM (DDR3?), 320GB hard drive (not SSD), integrated Intel GMA 4500 video with HDMI output, 1.3MP webcam, WiFi and optional Blu-ray Drive.

No price mentioned yet, but it should be available soon in the US of A.

MSI has one cool ultra thin Notebook dubbed as X340. It has 0.79″ thickness and award as the world’s first thinnest 13″ notebook.

Note that this is not a netbook. Although nowadays netbook is only inch away in screen size (such as Lenovo IdeaPad S12), their specs is completely different.

MSI X340-021US notebook is powered by the latest Intel Penryn Core 2 Solo Processor with 1.4Ghz clock speed, 2GB DDR2 RAM, 320GB SATA hard drive, WiFi, bluetooth, 2-in-1 card reader, 1.3MP webcam, VGA port and HDMI port.

According to MSI, MSI X340-021US notebook consumes only 1/6th of other processor with Intel SULV CPU and thanks to the thickness, this notebook weighs in 2.86lbs only!

Macbook Air should has become the measurement of the thinnest laptop. So MSI is getting ready to release their own competitors for Macbook Air dubbed as the MSI X400 and X600 in their X-Slim product lines.

The above image is not the official one yet. But it should be more thinner than the current MSi X340.

MSI X400 will comes with a 14-inch screen and new super thin Li-poly battery (8-cell) and weighing 1.5kg, while the X600 will have a larger 15-inch screen, 9-cell battery, weigh in 2.1 kg and an individual GPU device.

No pricing yet, and the availability still unknown.

Here is a new thinnest MP3 player produced by the country of Sakura (Japan). The MP3 Player is shaped like your Visa Credit Card with some real look of a credit card.

The manufacturer even add a line of numbers code to “fake” the mp3 player as your credit card.

Credit card sized MP3 player looks really cool with 8 buttons to navigate through your songs collection. You’d also found an OLED display (85 x 54mm) and a 3.5mm jack port at the rear side.

The question is, how large is the internal storage? Can we expand the memory? By looking at the picture above, it seems not expandable. No word on pricing and availability yet.

The second sexy feature is the Wireless technology. You can stream HD quality movie (similar to Mitsubishi HDTV) with some help from streaming device.

Again, this is something you could watch and touch if you head to CES 2009 in Las Vegas.
