This is one absolute cool and crazy idea. You do know Defibrillator, don’t you? Defibrillator is a treatment tool for the life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias, ventricular fibrillation and pulseless ventricular tachycardia. But, do breads have those stuffs?!

This concept is pretty playful actually. Toast/E/R is mainly a toaster that has the shape of a defibrillator, and you’ll have to push the electrodes to the pan with bread sandwiched between them to cook the bread. But the looking and feeling of using this toaster is a bit like a ‘doctor’ who trying to revive the dieing breads and give lives to the bread.

That’s totally a medical-nerdism!

Probably you have a toast every morning and you will notice that the toast is not perfectly toasted using the conventioanal device. Now you are granted the tool to have perfect toast in every edge of your bread.

Just hover it onto your bread, slowly move the position to wherever you like and you’ll get your bread toasted in minutes.

Chance are, most likely you’ll also get your fingers burned/toasted by this portable toaster as it have no protection at all. Another downside is you have to toast the bread face by face. Not toasting them at the same time like your old toaster do.

But it is a good tool for those who love to use new stuff and methods to treat their daily life. No word about what type of power source to produce the heat, and no word when this concept of portable toaster to be materialize!

Imagine a real battery get toasted, you’ll immediately taste the explode to your face. But that’s not about this battery toaster. It’s not really a toaster, but a Battery charger with toaster shape and feel.

Designed by Hyun-A Ko, this is another good concept from another Korean designer. It idea is pretty idiomatic, “to eat batteries for breakfast”, it’s just like imagining bread as battery and eat them to regain the lost energy.

It’s a brilliant idea, and the design is as brilliant as the concept. You can simply slide the battery into the “toaster” like you’ll do with your bread on toaster. Then push the handle down to charge and after fully recharged, the charger toaster will pop back so you can use it again to refill your lost energy.

There is a bread design indicator with warm orange LEDs shining brighter and brighter as the battery charges inside the toaster. Well, because it’s so really… just make sure you don’t grab the wrong “bread” when you are having your morning rush hour time.

You know, we need bread every single morning. And a toast bread is the most delicious meal to fill my stomach so I can start my day perfectly.

I’m not sure since when our Asian tradition of rice as the breakfast switched into toasted bread with a help from a toaster, but I’m guess it’s great no matter what.

Something pretty interesting is, I never knew there is a whole museum of toaster available for toasting your bread. I’m not sure if the taste will be different or not, but by looking at the shapes and tradition across the country, it makes my salivas dropping.
