If having a cup of coffee and couple of toast breads is your morning breakfast menu, Pop Art Toaster will be there to flourish it up. Instead of getting your bread toasted like usual, Pop Art Toaster will ‘dress’ them with cool looking wording like “Bite Me” or even print images into the toast.

Every day, your morning routine is the same. Cup of coffee, plate of toast, morning paper. Yawn. It’s enough to make you want to curl back into your regeneration cubicle, and disengage your central processor, and engage your alpha-waves for another 86,400,000 milliseconds. You need to inject some excitement into you existence before you endure yet another solar cycle in this mundane fashion.

Let’s look at your options: your morning paper won’t be any more exciting until they finish work on the Time Portal, allowing enough changes to the time stream to make the news less about Charlie Sheen and more about, say, a giant rampaging Mecha-Bieber demolishing Tokyo. Next up: Coffee – you can ramp up the caffeine, but that’ll just make you a jittery and excitable dull guy. No thanks. Well, how can we jazz up your toast?

I know, a daunting task, but let’s break it down: Toast is, essentially, bread that’s been browned through the judicious use of heat. Sugars develop in the starch of the slice until they caramelize into a delicious golden brown crust. Nice, but that crust is just sort of an even brown. Let’s inject a pattern into that vast expanse of dullness. By using metal masks to block part of the heat, we can “print” text and images onto your toast. Now, your toast says, “Bite Me.”

Well, if you insist!

Not a day goes by here at Firebox HQ when we’re not testing out another exciting new sound system. But while many of them knock our socks off, we’re always left with one last lingering question… does it make toast?

Well, we’re pleased to tell you that with the Breville Radio Toaster that answer is now “yes”. Yes this radio makes toast. Or this toaster is a radio. Either way, we’re kicking out the jams.
With all the functions of an FM/AM radio combined with two wide slots and the variable browning functions of a world-class toaster, the future has well and truly arrived. Ah, now if only it made tea as well…

This is one absolute cool and crazy idea. You do know Defibrillator, don’t you? Defibrillator is a treatment tool for the life-threatening cardiac arrhythmias, ventricular fibrillation and pulseless ventricular tachycardia. But, do breads have those stuffs?!

This concept is pretty playful actually. Toast/E/R is mainly a toaster that has the shape of a defibrillator, and you’ll have to push the electrodes to the pan with bread sandwiched between them to cook the bread. But the looking and feeling of using this toaster is a bit like a ‘doctor’ who trying to revive the dieing breads and give lives to the bread.

Probably you have a toast every morning and you will notice that the toast is not perfectly toasted using the conventioanal device. Now you are granted the tool to have perfect toast in every edge of your bread.

Just hover it onto your bread, slowly move the position to wherever you like and you’ll get your bread toasted in minutes.

Chance are, most likely you’ll also get your fingers burned/toasted by this portable toaster as it have no protection at all. Another downside is you have to toast the bread face by face. Not toasting them at the same time like your old toaster do.

But it is a good tool for those who love to use new stuff and methods to treat their daily life. No word about what type of power source to produce the heat, and no word when this concept of portable toaster to be materialize!

Designed by Hyun-A Ko, this is another good concept from another Korean designer. It idea is pretty idiomatic, “to eat batteries for breakfast”, it’s just like imagining bread as battery and eat them to regain the lost energy.

It’s a brilliant idea, and the design is as brilliant as the concept. You can simply slide the battery into the “toaster” like you’ll do with your bread on toaster. Then push the handle down to charge and after fully recharged, the charger toaster will pop back so you can use it again to refill your lost energy.

There is a bread design indicator with warm orange LEDs shining brighter and brighter as the battery charges inside the toaster. Well, because it’s so really… just make sure you don’t grab the wrong “bread” when you are having your morning rush hour time.

The idea of making an image burn onto a bread seems to be pretty popular these days. Personally, I think this is fun especially to cheer up our morning with something funny to see on our bread.

But I really need to be honest to you that what this Darth Vader Toaster produce is pretty “unhealthy”.

Why?

Because the surface of the toasted breast has already turn black! Black surface means Carbon, and carbon is equal to poison! I really recommend you not to eat something toasted to black.

But I guess there should be a heat-level adjustment for toasting your bread on this Star Wars Toaster. Just make sure don’t eat something like the picture shown above. Toast to brown color is more than enough than black. Don’t be a fan of black Darth Vader on your bread!

You know, we need bread every single morning. And a toast bread is the most delicious meal to fill my stomach so I can start my day perfectly.

I’m not sure since when our Asian tradition of rice as the breakfast switched into toasted bread with a help from a toaster, but I’m guess it’s great no matter what.

Something pretty interesting is, I never knew there is a whole museum of toaster available for toasting your bread. I’m not sure if the taste will be different or not, but by looking at the shapes and tradition across the country, it makes my salivas dropping.

Well, here is some of the coolest design according to my own taste. There are bunch of them and you can take a look at the Toaster Museum.

Let’s begin toaster from:
