Toshiba has added a new external hard drive to the existing 500GB and 320GB models. Now Toshiba External hard drive is be available in the 640GB storage capacity with the code name of MK6465GSX. This is the first 640GB 2.5-inch External Hard drive ever exist so we can safely name it the first ‘Industrial Largest 2.5-inch External HDD’.

In this version, the design is a bit cheerful, splashed with solid colors such as red or blue and added some type of swivel line arts. Toshiba 640GB USB hard drive will compatible with PC and Mac, and the drive will have a pre-installed NTI Shadow 4 (Mac) or NTI BackupNow EZ (PC) backup software. Total of 4 colors available (Liquid Blue, Vivid White, Rocket Red and Komodo Green colors) with price tag of $179.99.
