Our old traffic light concept seems to be renewed by Art Lebedev with his own Square Shaped Traffic lights concept, which looks much more cooler than our traditional traffic lights:

Square Shaped Traffic Lights Prototype

It’s been a long and very long time the rounded shape traffic light to taking control of the traffic. The reason of rounded design is because of that type of shape can give a full performance for the spherical light-bulb. But with this new concept design by Art Lebedev, he switched the Spherical bulb with superbright diodes which could provide the same lightness in daylight for pedastrians and drivers.

Also, which the superbright diodes, the flat screen with more efficiency in packaging is made possible. This New Square Shaped Traffic Lights is name as Luxofor. Although it’s a good concept, but it still remain as a future concept with no detail about when we are going to enjoy such a cool traffic light.
