This beautiful bird-like device is called Dala, which is a concept of vinyl player with unique speaker system that looks like two wings. Designed by Bradley Paulet, the designer claims that the unique speaker has lots of fins that handles an individual range of frequencies. When the vinyl disc played, the sound will be projected into the run in a way that offers stereo images in any direction.

It’s too cool to be true. Although we do hope we can get one for our living room, it’s sad that Dala Vinyl player is just a concept at the moment.

It’s absolutely a handmade product, and you the wall clock is powered by Quartz clock with 1 AA battery to make the clock tick. pixelthis open the price at the level or $89, perhaps it’s too cheap so this handmade recycled Fischer turntable clock has been sold out!

Well, it’s not really cheap actually. Perhaps pixelthis only made a limited number of them. So it’s normal to be sold out quick in the geek market. Let’s hope pixelthis will restock the stuff so for you who love the creation can own one too.

DJ fans now will get a good treatment from Activation. The coming soon “DJ Hero” will comes with its dedicated DJ Hero Controller in form or a turntable with 3 colored buttons (similar to Guitar Hero Controller).

The DJ Hero seems to be unable to do a disk scratching like a real DJ. But the playing instruction is still unknown to me. The game is going to sell on the end year, probably before the Santa Claus ho-ho Season.

Denon has released a new Converter, Denon DP-200USB to help you turns your Vinyl to MP3 format so you can save your old songs inside your vinyl collection from extinction.

ION-Style DP-200USB is a fully automatic turntable that will convert vinyl analog records into MP3 files and storage the data directly to a flash drive or External USB storage. You will find only one port provided in the front side with three buttons for navigation for recording purposes. ION DP-200USB support all vinyl size (7in, 12in, 45in) and you will get a Windows-based software to edit the recorded data inside the flash drive. All the music is record in one full length of audio and you have to splits and band into tracks manually using the provided software.

So, if you have a lot of vinyl collection, you can buy this ION DP-200USB and turns them to digital data for future usage. Although there is lot of complains about the quality of digital audio vs analog records, I guess it’s still important to back up to prevent unwanted loss, and still keep the original vinyl for your best audio enjoyment. There is nothing to lose for you.
