Logitec from Japan is adding a new interesting gadget for iOS owners, preferably the owner of iPad and iPhone.

They’ve announced the LDT-1Si01, a one-seg iOS TV tuner that is capable of turning your iPad or iPhone into a portable TV!

Logitec LDT-1Si01 iOS Tuner is a small device that will attach to the 30-pin port of your iPad or iPhone, and there is a long extendable antenna that you can use it to enhance the signal quality. The TV Tuner itself is quite handy, as it is not only capable of tuning your local TV channels, it also come with a capability to enable subtitles and even record the live show into your iPad with a help from a special iOS app.

Logitec LDT-1Si01 iOS TV Tuner is going to hit Japan later in this month for the price of 7,980 Yen or equal to $103 USD. No idea though, whether it will hit the US market. Perhaps GeekStuff4U will import it for us when it’s been available in Japan.

Elgato has refreshed their EyeTV hybrid USB TV tuner and shrunk its shape a little bit smaller. Compare to the first generation, Elgato EyeTV Hybrid USB TV Tuner have got no significant changes in its features other than the smaller dimension. Samsung has launched their latest SyncMaster P2770HD that size in 27-inch and it has comes with an internal TV tuner and HDMI input. The HDTV has also comes with a bunch of option that could spoiled most of audiophile and keep them exciting watching their cinemas. The Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD is full HD, has 5ms response time, 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, has a built-in 3-watt stereo speaker and the speaker is capable to emulate 5.1-channel audio system which I think it’s pretty cool. More features added such as the function of Picture In Picture and Picture By Picture modes on this HDTV model.

Samsung P2770HD HDTV is set the release on Korea for $473 equivalent price, but there is no certainty yet when you can get one for yourself (in Korea).
