Peng Qixuan creative designer has come up with an idea of easy storage for memory cards (like microSD or SD card) at the same time you can access to all of its content at once.

Using USB port provided at the other side of the device (retractable), the device will be connected and you can read all of the memory cards that stored properly on the card reader. It looks like a reasonable good concept design, but again, it’s just a concept design that has not been produced yet.

I don’t own many memory cards and have just one functional card reader for my Kodak’s memory chip. However, I know people who carry plenty of memory cards in their cute little card storage boxes…. show offs! Yea I know you own many gadgets, click many pictures, store loads of data! Anyways, as I was saying; just having cards is not enough, you need to compliment it with a Card Reader. Here is some funny USB Drive made by USBGeek.com. A USB Surgeon Drive that has been fully dress in the surgery clothes, and the body has the similarity with LEGO mini figs. But I wonder why they called it the Surgeon Drive? Is it because of the removable head (where it’s actually the cap for the USB Head)?

Well, I do guess so because beside the Surgeon themed character painted on this USB Flash drive, it doesn’t contain anything related to medical stuff. It also have no “PC surgery” type of software pre-installed to act as a rescuer for your PC when plugged in. Some interesting rumor floating in the net right now about the latest Windows 7 operating system from Microsoft. The rumor says that Windows 7 will be shipped on a flash drive, while still leaving the DVD version as a selection for users. So in the final release of Windows 7, you will going to get three selection: Flash Drive, DVD or Download it directly from the internet.

Personally, I think this is very convenience and most-likely user will choose the Thumb drive version because it is faster than DVD in some area. And this also a cool solution for Netbook user who want to upgrade their OS while lacking of DVD drive.
