We have seen many spy gadget and they are all alike. The latest spy gadget that will quite useful and blend-in for the office environment is this Video Surveillance Clock. It’s elegant with metallic silver finish, has adjustable angle and it can sit on the desk firmly thanks to the rounded stand.

The video camera itself can take about 52,000 images or 6-hours of AVI video using the included 4GB microSD card. The image resolution is 1280 x 960, while the video resolution is at 720 x 480 only. The video lens can take something from nine feet away, while the microphone is capable of picking up sound from 16 feet away.

This Video surveillance clock has internal rechargeable lithium battery, could be recharged via USB 2.0 port on PC or directly from AC adapter in three hours for full charge.

A company called Vision research has just launched a new high speed camera called Phantom v1610. As far as how fast, the company has stated that their Phantom v1610 is capable of recording up to an amazing 1 million frames per second!

Yep, this chubby looking machine (video camera) is actually a beast in disguise. Phantom v1610 high speed camera features widescreen CMOS sensor, and the resolution is available from the lowest 128 x 16p up to 1280 x 800p. However, the FPS on the largest resolution is only capable of reaching 16,000 frames per second.

As far as the other features goes, this Phantom v1610 hig speed camera has also featured 2 x HD-SDI ports that could be configured in various kind of ways, like what the source has described:

“They can act as identical 4:2:2 HD-SDI ports where one port can be set up to provide an (optional) on-screen display for monitoring the on-camera controls and camera operation. They can also be configured as a single 4:4:4 Dual-Link HD-SDI port.”

This video camera can also do GPS geo tagging, record directly to CineMag, and has 10GB ethernet connectivity. You can view the details of this high speed video camera over at Vision Research website.

Smallest video camera has been developed by engineers at Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration worked together with Awaiba GmbH and the Fraunhofer Institue for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering. The video camera is about as small as a grain of salt, or to be exact it’s 1 cubic millimeter only.

Despite of its small size, this smallest video camera has a resolution of 62,500 pixel, and capable of delivering high resolution video of any recording. What’s the best is that this smallest video camera won’t be an expensive camera to produce. According to the developers, this camera could be a perfect fit for medical. One-use disposal is made possible similar like syringe needle. Also, it could be a very potential spy cam for spying people without any obvious attention from the target.

Frauhofer Institute has planned to roll out this smallest video camera into the market next year 2012.

There is no pricing details for ZionEyez Eyez yet, but it shouldn’t be a cheap video camera.

This series of Sony CyberShot G3 DigiCam is pretty interesting. The camera now allows you to browse and upload pictures and video to the web via the Wi-Fi network provided by AT&T.

You can choose from thousands of AT&T hotspots, restaurant or even airports to do your uploads to several renown online picture sharing sites such as Picasa Albums or Youtube for vidoes.

Of course, that online feature is just a complimentary stuff to this great series, Cybershot G3 Digital Camera.
