ViewSonic is entering the premium tablet market by offering their new ViewPad 10e 9.7-inch Android tablet. This tablet, unlike any other same size tablets, it comes with Android 2.3 OS instead of HoneyComb OS. which mean you are going to be able to make calls like you would with Samsung Galaxy Tab 7. or other similar tablet on a smaller size.

Specification wise, ViewSonic ViewPad 10e Android tablet is coming with 1GHz Cortext A8 processor, 512MB RAM, 9.7-inch IPS LCD Touchscreen supporting resolution up to 1024×600, has 1.3-megapixels front camera, 4GB internal storage, expandable using microSD/SDHC card to 32GB and it’s coming with the latest Bluetooth 3.0 and WIFI b/g/n connectivity.

ViewSonic ViewPad also coming with a mini HDMI output (MHL) that you can put the display up to your HDTV for a bigger screen. One more feature it has is the ViewScene 3D UI that let you customize the user interface in 3D Style with up to 16 customizable panes.

The pricing of ViewSonic ViewPad 10e is going to be announced later in November in UK. No idea if this Android tablet will arrive at the US shore or not.

The next gen of ViewSonic ViewPad 7 – the ViewPad 7x is reported to be arriving at the US in October 2011 next month.

Obviously, there is a great power improvement over the previous model, where ViewPad 7x is now getting the treatment of 1GHz nVidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor and Google Android HoneyComb 3.2 OS for the best tablet experience.

Viewsonic ViewPad 7x honeycomb tablet is also coming with HSPA+ connectivity for better internet experience and the 7-inch touchscreen display is a capacitive LED display with 10 point multi-touch. This is the best specification for a 7-inch tablet that I’ve found so far. Generally, this type of specs is only existed in tablets with display greater than 9-inch.

ViewSonic ViewPad 7x is set to released for $379 in the next month. If you are looking for a 7-inch tablet, ViewPad 7x is definitely worth your second look other than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.

Viewsonic’s latest product in their ViewPad series is an Android Smartphones that looks pretty like the dwarf version of ViewPad 7 tablet PC. The company gave it a dedicated name called ViewPad 4, a Qualcomm (1GHz MSM8255) powered Android smartphone running FroYo 2.2 OS.

This smartphone was unveiled in the CES last week, and it’s one of many new smartphone that coming with large screen size at 4.1-inch and fully equipped with both front-facing and rear facing camera with the the capability to record 720p HD video.

After the news of Viewsonic ViewPad 7 coming soon to the US, now this massive phone has properly landed on the land of the American.

Viewsonic ViewPad 7 Android tablet is going to cost you $479 on this side, and it’s coming with most of the specs that we have mentioned in the previous articles. That means the specs is including 512MB RAM, 512MB flash memory, full-sized SIM card slot, microSD card slot, front and rear facing VGA camera, G-sensor, A-GPS, 3G, WiFi, bluetooth, and Android OS 2.2 Froyo.

Sadly, there is a little bit decrease in processor power from the 1GHz SnapDragon CPU (European version) to 600Mzh Qualcomm MSM7227 processor (US version). There is no explanation on why ViewSonic decrease the processor speed, but we are assuming that they want to reserve more battery life so users can use it for an extended time frame.

Being the elder in display market, Viewsonic has pioneered a bunch of display technology, and now they are making another impressive leap in offering their new Full DH display at 22-inch with full multi-touch technology.

This is the ViewSonic VX2258, a Full HD 1920 x 1080p display that has a surprising low 100,000:1 DCR (Dynamic Contrast Ratio). It’s really low because BenQ, Philips and Gateways has going ahead sporting DCR higher than 12,000,000:1.

Perhaps the low DCR is to support the multi-touch functionality of the display, but luckily this ViewSonic VX2258 has been certified by Windows 7 Touch panel function, so you are safe that this monitor won’t be a disappointing gadget for multi-touch purposes.

This eBook Reader featured 7-inch color LCD display, that could be used to read text documents, including PDF, TXT, EPUB, CHM, HTML, PDB and UMD and watch movie files including RM/RMVB, AVI, MOV, WMV, MKV and VOB video.

It also can playback MP3, WMA, APE and FLAC audio files with the built-in player, and Viewsonic MP-P702 color ebook reader can view image album containing JPEG, PNG, BMP and GIF image files.

Pretty a cool media support, and Viewsonic MP-P702 has support Full HD 1080p video playback with HDMI output.

No idea when this Viewsonic MP-P702 color e-book reader and PMP combo will be released to the market.

The ViewSonic ViewPad 7 Tablet is coming with a great glossy screen, but they are not sure if this Viewsonic is exactly the ViewPad 7 tablet PC that has got the on board 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS or a 10-inch tablet running Android OS using Intel CPU.

However, the most certain feature that will exist in this new Viewsonic tablet is the front-facing camera, MiniUSB connectivity, and MicroSD slot.

Viewsonic newest system is a Nettop PC, codenamed as VOT125. Since it’s a Nettop PC, this Viewsonic VOT125 is mini sized, powered by energy-saving processor series such as Intel Celeron SU743, Dual Core Celeron SU2300, Intel Pentium SU4100, and Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300. Not very strong, so don’t expect that you can run resource hungry applications on this nettop PC.

Viewsonic has crunched out a new HD projector called PJD6531w that has 3D-capability. What it mean with 3D capability is the special feature in Viewsonic PJD6531w that can producing image at 120Hz and delivering 3D effects for the viewer, although it’s not stated in our source, I assume you will still need to wear a 3D glasses to see the 3D contents (unless the 3D projector can produce a display like Parallax Barrier technology).

For the specification, Viewsonic PJD6531w HD 3D projector provides up to 1280 x800 pixel in WXGA format, has contras rtio of 3200: 1, 3000 lumen ating and you can easily hook up to your home network via RJ-45 connector. ViewSonic, the popular display manufacturer has jumped into the e-reader market by releasing their own VEB612 e-reader. This is a surprise attack to the market but no idea if Viewsonic can handle the fierce competition between the big branded e-reader such as Nook, Kindle or Sony Readers.

The Viewsonic VEB612 is looking similar with eslick reader, especially on the buttons location. The reader can read several formats such as ePub, PRC, PDF, HTML and simple TXT, and you can play MP3 audio files as well to accompany your reading time. 512MB has been built inside to store your media files, but if you feel it’s not enough you can expand to 4GB using SD cards.

Viewsonic VEB612 e-reader also have got a super long battery life (which is the plus point for the competition) that could let you read over 8,000 pages on a single full charges. However, unlike Nook or Alex Android e-Reader that have a colorful display, Viewsonic VEB612 offer no such thing. It’s just another black and white e-reader using e-ink technology.

Viewsonic, the Display maker has stepped into the PMP market by releasing their own device entitled as ‘VPD400 MovieBook’, which I called it another HD PMP that support High Definition movie playback. ViewSonic VPD400 Moviebook supports quite many of media file formats, such as AVI, MKV, FLV, MPG, MOV, MPG, VOB, RM/RMVB, H.264, MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC and DTS/AC3. It’s not too shabby, and the Moviebook is pretty smart because it has another features to record voice memo, and you can even use it to read digital books using its’ 4.3-inch display.
