Other than the wildcharge wireless charging station, QI wireless charging pod is also having their name lobbed into the sky recently. QI Wireless works just like the wildcharge charging system, but it’s more advanced now because it can charge numerous of gadgets. The latest Android phone from Sharp has also come with QI-friendly feature, which mean you can charge the wirelessly on QI charge pod. The phone has been codenamed as Sharp AQUOS f SH-13C, an Android 2.3 phone that comes complete with 3.7-inch QHD screen, 8.1-megapixel camera and TapFlow UI.

It would be released anytime in this year, but we don’t have the exact launch date for that.

ElectroHub is one of the device that will be showed off in CES 2011 Expo next year. What’s great about this Wireless charging device is the capability of charging up to 6 devices at once, and those devices require no special case like what you should have with the wildcharge or DuraCell SmartPower myGrid. Instead, ElectroHub will come with a special ElectroHub battery that come in two common size of AA and AAA.

From the first appearance, it looks like a bathroom scale or digital kitchen scale with glossy surface. However, it’s really not one of them, and the glossy surface is the spot that you should place your gadgets for recharging (with the ElectroHub batteries installed).

According to CNET, ElectroHub wireless charger will be available in the first quarter of 2011 after showing of the device at CES 2011. You can expect to pay $39 for this ElectroHub wireless charging system which has come with a pair of ElectroHub batteries.

Additionally, you can get the ElectroHub battery for $10 each set.

Duracell Instant Charger is the other self of the previous Duracell SmartPower MyGrid Wireless Charging System. After reincarnate from the inventory, Duracell Intant Charger is now capable of providing up to 35-hours of backup power and it’s also capable of reserving power for most cell phones and recharged hundreds of times. So probably it’s more suitable for us to call it as a battery backup with wireless charging system from Duracell.

Surprising, I thought there is no other company dare to compete with the thinnest laptop record. Dell recent released of its so called world’s first wireless chargeable notebook – the Dell Latitude Z has conquered the number 1 of the thinnest laptop as well! Let’s check out what the heck is this thing:

Well, Macbook Air, move aside. Let Dell’s Latitude Z get through to the center of the attention. This Dell Latitude Z worth the attention because beside the impressive feature it has, the design of this notebook simply cool. Powered by either Intel Core 2 Duo SU9600 1.6Ghz or Intel Core 2 Duo SU9400 1.4Ghz processor, offering up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM and with a built-in 4500MHD graphic, this Dell Latitude Z can obviously handle most of the tasks you throw at it (Well, except hardcore gaming!).

Dell Latitude Z has a cool 16-inch WLED screen that could display up to 1600×900 pixel resolution, and the most interesting feature on the screen is the EdgeTouch technology where you are allows to interact with commonly used applications and media controls through a touch interface that is on the bezel of the system’s screen.

This wireless charging laptop also implementing a gesture-enabled touchpad similar to macbook air, and offering more feature that you can eat, such as the 2MP web camera, backlight keyboard, bluetooth, WiFi, Fingerprint scanner, eSATA/USB combo port, DisplayPort, an even a HSDPA/HSUPA/EVDO 3G modules.

It certainly worth the biggest attention from the tech world, but of course, this laptop is not a cheap stuff to own one because even the base rigs will cost you $2,000! That’s the level of one high-end gaming desktop.

This is something wonderful for laptop user, it seems Dell is going to launch their Latitude Z-series with added functionality of “Wireless Charging”. You see, so far we’ve come to know about charging our cell phone wirelessly through a device named as ‘WildCharge’. But Charging Laptop wirelessly is kind of new and pretty a shocking news.

According to Forbes Magazine, Dell will put this Wireless Charging Technology into their Latitude Z premium notebook, which boost the 16-inch display, and the notebook will focus on high-end corporate market only. Perhaps this wireless charging technology is unaffordable for consumer level, so Dell say No-no to this market for now. Of course, Dell knows that the sales won’t be as high as their other Latitude series, but it seems Dell want to test the water before getting on the serious pace to develop this new charging technology.

Battery Maker Duracell has produced a similar wireless charging system to Wildcharge Charging pad. Dubbed as SmartPower myGrid Charging system, it will be able to charge cell phones and most of other devices just by placing them above the smartpower grids. It seems there is no need to open the rear cover anymore and Duracell myGrid is compatible with iPhone, iPod, as well as several renown cell phones brands (Blackberry, Moto, Nokia, etc).

Duracell smartpower myGrid Wireless Charging system will be launched in this October 2009. Pricing still remain undisclosed.

WildCharge has updated their WildCharge Pad to support iPhone 3G S and the updated version also comes with a skin for iPhone 3GS. Just like the previous technology, the WildCharge Pad will loaded up with conductive strips, and the new skin for iPhone will connected and browse power from the base plate through the small nubs on the back.

The downside is perhaps you can’t charge your iPhone 3GS if you don’t get the Skin with the purchase of the wildCharge pad. So, although they said it’s perfect wireless charging solution, the iPhone charging won’t work without the skin (still work for other mobile phone).

But if you really want to try the new technology, you can get them in a bundle for $79.99.
