As what I’ve known so far, Linksys is the first company to rolled out their wireless router or wireless modem with amazing appearance and design. We all know that those wireless modems are away on the dark side – hidden somewhere people wouldn’t notice of their existence while it can still provide it fastest connection for the users. So appearance and good design on this device is actually quite useless. However, if you think you are going to place it somewhere visible to others and want them to be impressed, you can take a look at this new Linksys E-Series Wireless router.

In this E-Series Family, Linksys has cramped out 5 new models that could handle fast 450Mbps (roughly) data transfers. Also, they’ve come with 3×3 spatial stream configuration to enlarge the wireless network zone and reduce dead spots. For the top model, the wireless router has been equipped with dual band 802.11n and probably will be treated with the best and fastest transfer support.

Even better, Cisco Linksys E-series wireless router has been equipped with virtual USB technology. This technology allows us to hook up USB printers, storage, or any USB device over the network without actually plug-in any USB connector to the router.

I know every company is trying to be unique to the market with their own product offering. But something like this LAN-WH450N/GR is certainly too weird. LAN-WH450N/GR is a new wireless router from Logitec. It has a slim router base with thin stand to save space, which is pretty normal. However, what’s make it unique and ‘weird’ is the flower-like triple antennas (or it’s also called as Tri-tenna) popping out from the top of the wireless router.

According to Logitec, LAN-WH450N/GR wireless router is supporting 5GHz bandwidth on IEEE 802.11a/n mode, where user can enjoy full 450Mpbs speed on compatible wireless devices like laptop, mobile phone or tablet. Though we are not sure how effective the triple antenna design is when compared to the ‘old fashioned’ dual antenna design However, we sure hope it has a good latency and no lags even for a millisecond.

Logitec will start shipping this LAN-WH450N/GR wireless router in this April in Japan for a hefty price around $230.

Recently, Nintendo rolled out their self made Wireless Router for both Wii and DS. The router itself is just like the common router that you would find it anywhere. the only distinction is the compatibility for Nintendo Wii and DS all version to help gamer blast their game with WiFi functionality.

The shape is so small and cute combine with plastic white casing. I’m not sure why Nintendo make this WiFi router, I think it’s useless for Nintendo Wii but pretty good if you have all your family equipped with DS system. You can play without worrying on the building wireless system and you each of your family member can connect each other even on a separate room.

The bad news is, it’s only available in Japan-only for now. While Nintendo is going to launch it in Japan at this September 18th, you may need to wait for another month or two to reach to the U.S. and other part of the countries.
