Sega has come up with a new gaming console entitled as the ‘Sega Zone’. Sega Zone has the similar look of Wii, and it even has come with a wireless motion controller similar to Razer Sixense Motion game controller.

The Sega Zone Game Console will come with twenty classic Sega games + 30 other titles such as Golden Exe, Sonic and Knuckles, Ecoo the Dolphin and so on. Sega Zone console will be available in the UK on this Summer with a price tag of £50 (about $80) with 50 games included. It’s cheap, but I wonder how is the quality of the games. Will Sega Zone survive the strict competition in the game market? Well, let’s just wish Sega a good luck and hope they won’t repeat the Dreamcast tragedy.

New HTPC has launched by Niveus Media with the name of Niveus Zone HTPC. This piece of HTPC from Niveus Media is an expensive technology, although the specification is pretty common. It looks just like a Shuttle Barebone, but offers much more simpler function and features.

Niveus Zone HTPC is only weighs about 3.2 pounds, with measurement of 6.5 x 6.5 x 1.97 inches. You could find the following specification and features in this Niveus Zone HTPC:

• Intel Core 2 Duo 2Ghz Processor
• 2GB RAM
• 160GB Hard drive (not SSD)
• Built-in Intel GMA X4500 HD graphics chipset
• a built-in slot loading Blu-ray drive
• HDMI 1.3 port
• eSATA Ports
• 7.1 Channel Surround System

While the ZONE will work as a standalone unit, it comes into its own when more than one are installed. Then each ZONE can share content with each other, or with network-attached storage, including Digital Cable boxes or 3rd-party TV tuners for DVR duty.
